Ms Lisa Sam

Lisa Sam was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court in 1997 and is a barrister-at-law in England and Wales. She had previously practised in both large and medium-sized law firms in Singapore. She started her practice in 2004. Lisa’s practice areas include corporate law, commercial litigation, family and general litigation.
Lisa is an elected member of the Council of the Law Society of Singapore from 2006. She also took on the role of Chairperson/Co-chairperson of the Law Society Small Law Firms Committee and Court Practice Chairpersons Committee for many years. Lisa was elected as the Vice-President of the Law Society of Singapore from 2021 to 2023 and as President in 2024.
Lisa has been a mediator since 2014 for the Singapore Mediation Centre, the Law Society of Singapore, the Financial Industry Disputes Resolution Centre (“FIDREC”), and a Court Mediator. Lisa has been a grassroots leader of Pasir Ris East Community Club since 2004 and was appointed Chairman of Pasir Ris East Constituency Sports Network since 2014, organising community events for Singapore residents. In addition, Lisa was an elected Management Committee member of a National Sports Association, the Singapore Badminton Association, from 2018 to 2020.
Lisa was an independent director of a Stock Exchange of Singapore (SGX) Mainboard Listed entity and acted as the Chairman of the Nominating Committee and a member of the Audit Committee and the Remuneration Committee from 2011 to 2021.
