REGISTRATION CLOSED – Conference at Capacity

The organisers of the 39th LAWASIA Conference 2026 wish to advise that the conference has now reached capacity, and conference registrations are now CLOSED.

Confirmed conference speakers, moderators, and LAWASIA Executive Committee and Council members may still complete their registration by selecting the relevant registration category.

If you wish to be placed on the waiting list, please contact the LAWASIA Events Team at lawasia2026@lawasia.asn.au , with a copy to the LAWASIA Secretariat at lawasia@lawasia.asn.au . While places cannot be guaranteed, all requests will be considered should additional capacity become available.

Please note that only applicants who are able to be offered a place will be contacted. If you do not hear from us, unfortunately your request cannot be accommodated.

After a successful annual conference in Hanoi last October, LAWASIA and the Korean Bar Association are thrilled to announce that the 39th LAWASIA Conference 2026 will take place in Seoul, South Korea — a city where innovation meets tradition. The conference will be held from Monday, 14 September to Wednesday, 16 September 2026.

Under the theme “Global New Order – Challenges and Perspectives”, the Conference will provide a platform for bar leaders, jurists, professional organisations, and individual lawyers to exchange insights on the evolving legal landscape and the challenges facing the global legal community.

Designed to facilitate discussions on regional developments in law, the Conference will cover a wide range of topics including Family Law, Human Rights & Rule of Law, Business Law, Environmental Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Criminal Law, Intellectual Property, and more.

We highly encourage all LAWASIA members, friends, and supporters to join us for this exceptional event, and we look forward to seeing you in Seoul in September 2026!
