CONFERENCE CANCELLED
2nd LAWASIA Human Rights Conference
FURTHER UPDATE – 2nd LAWASIA HUMAN RIGHTS CONFERENCE 2020 CANCELLED
After considerable consideration, LAWASIA together with the host organisations; the Supreme Court Bar Association of Nepal and the Nepal Bar Association, have reassessed the situation arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, and have made the decision that it will not be possible to hold the 2nd LAWASIA Human Rights Conference in Kathmandu, Nepal on the proposed dates of 4th and 5th July 2020.
Given the uncertainty at this stage, we are announcing the cancellation of the conference. Whilst this decision was taken with great reluctance, we are keeping in mind the paramount concern for the health and well-being of LAWASIA members, conference delegates and speakers, members of the local bar and conference staff.
Registrants will be advised separately on refund policy.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused during this period of uncertainty and we look forward to connecting with you at future LAWASIA conferences and seminars.
