Committee Overview

Through the Moot Competition Committee, LAWASIA proudly facilitates the annual LAWASIA International Moot Competition.

Since the competition's inception over a decade ago, more than 1,000 students have taken part in LAWASIA International Moots, with alumni drawn from approximately 60 law schools in 30 different jurisdictions.

LAWASIA has long recognised that, as a key component in legal education, mooting offers an invaluable training opportunity to develop the fundamental skills required by prospective lawyers.

LAWASIA is proud that the annual moot competition continues to support our key objective of advancing the standard of legal education within the region by all practicable means.
