In the present environment, it is undeniable that tax has become increasingly complex with tax authorities collecting and sharing taxpayer’s information more freely than ever before. This is coupled with the effects of the Covid19 pandemic where the financial strains on the State are more apparent than ever before. Governments are expected to raise more revenue by imposing a higher tax collection by way of new tax legislations and by conducting more tax audits or investigations.
