About LAWASIA Membership
LAWASIA Members
Individual membership of LAWASIA is predominantly made up of members of the legal profession, including judges, counsel, barristers, attorneys, solicitors, and lawyers in legislatures, in government and in administration from the Asia and the Pacific. Membership is also open to law firms and corporations.
Membership Categories and Benefits of Membership

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS

LIFE MEMBERS
In addition to the above, life members receive a 50% discount on all LAWASIA conference registration and invitations to attend special events.
LAW FIRM and CORPORATE MEMBERS
In addition to the above, law firm and corporate members receive:

two half-page advertisements in the LAWASIA Update magazine;

the opportunity to link to the LAWASIA website;

reduced registration fees for seminars and conferences for three members of the firm/corporation;

free section membership.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERS

Membership Categories
Individual Membership
Members of the legal profession, ie persons versed in the law that include judges, counsel, barristers, attorneys, solicitors, lawyers in legislatures, in government and in administration and teachers of Law within the region shall be eligible for individual membership.
LAWASIA recognises that the differing economic conditions in the countries of our region require consideration when setting membership fees. In order to ensure that its membership is fully representative of the region, LAWASIA offers three categories of membership fees that have been set according to a member's country of residence. Young Lawyers Membership
Young Lawyers membership is only available to members admitted to practice less than 5 years.
Associate Individual Membership
If you are not a solicitor but work in the legal profession, or are studying law, retired from practice or are an academic you are eligible for associate membership.
Law Firm Membership
Law Firm membership is for Law Firms, and is divided into 3 different categories as listed below. Each category has a different fee schedule according to size (namely, the number of partners in the firm).
Law Firm: “1-5 partners”
Law Firm: “6-12 partners”
Law Firm: “over 12 partners”
Corporate Membership
Corporate membership is for those who are not law firms. It is for any institution, company or other body that desires to support the objects and work of LAWASIA.
