2009 marks the second year since LAWASIA moved its flagship conference, the LAWASIA Biennial, to an annual event. On this occasion we are especially pleased to bring the 22nd LAWASIA Conference to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

The conference theme competition and cooperation has been chosen as it appropriately encapsulates issues in current times and the region that LAWASIA represents and we hope these will provide a guideline for a balanced and varied program.
